Clear, straightforward terms so you know exactly what to expect when renting with 01 Motors.
Driver Requirements
Drivers must be at least 18 years of age and hold a valid G/G2 driver's licence (or equivalent). Non-Canadian licences must be accompanied by a passport and may need to be evaluated by our team before your reservation is confirmed.
Insurance Requirements
Renters must provide a full-coverage personal insurance policy that includes rental coverage. In Ontario this is known as OPCF 27 coverage for non-owned automobiles. Credit-card coverage may qualify on select vehicles for renters 21+ — please call us to confirm eligibility.
Deposit & Payment
Deposits range from $1,000–$10,000 depending on the vehicle and the driver’s coverage and credentials. All deposits are refunded and received back within 3–5 business days as long as the car is returned with no violations of contract or damage.
Mileage
Most of our vehicles include 200 km per day as standard. Select exotic and luxury models may be limited to 150 km per day. Your sales associate will confirm your specific daily allowance and overage rates at the time of booking.
Pickup & Delivery
We offer pickup at our North York location and delivery throughout the GTA. Call us or send an inquiry for a delivery/pickup quote.
Cancellations
Pre-booking deposit payments are non-refundable under all circumstances. Once a reservation is confirmed, those dates are reserved exclusively for you and removed from our availability, which prevents us from accepting other bookings for that period. Because of this commitment, we are unable to refund deposits regardless of when a cancellation is requested.
